Vitalik Transferred $1Million ETH to Coinbase
Ethereum's co-founder, Vitalik Buterin, made headlines by transferring 600 ether (ETH), equivalent to roughly $1 million, to the cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase. This move coincided with a 10% drop in ether's value over the previous week, a decline that was part of a broader market downturn culminating in a massive $1 billion in trader liquidations. Notably, Buterin had also recently repaid 250,000 RAI and withdrawn $1.6 million worth of ether, details obtained from on-chain tracker lookonchain revealed. RAI, a non-pegged stablecoin backed by ETH, added intrigue to Buterin's actions.
